Since then, she has accumulated extensive experience, shaping her into a proficient General Physician capable of handling a wide range of medical conditions. Her initial experiences as an assistant Pediatrician with Dr. Subramanian at MG Hospital, Ramnathpuram, and later as a duty medical officer at AYESHA Hospitals & M R Hospital, Chennai, enriched her medical expertise.
Her outstanding contributions to the medical field did not go unnoticed, and she has received several prestigious awards and honors. In 2021, she was recognized as a Covid Warrior by the Muslim Medical Foundation and DK Heart Care, Chennai, for her relentless efforts during the pandemic. The Ibadah Women’s Welfare Trust, Chennai, also honored her for her remarkable dedication to her profession.
Adding another feather to her cap, in 2023, Dr. Arifa was commended by THE GUIDANCE COUNCIL, CHENNAI, for her exemplary contributions to society. This recognition underscores her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients and the community.
